Heading to the Berkshires and Southern Vermont next week.   Hoping to find nice fall color.  This one from eastern Pennsylvania a couple of years ago. 

A fisherman drops his line into Prien Lake, under the I-210 Bridge.   Shot several weeks ago just after sunset.  Used the “buzz filter” to smooth the image which removed some of the noise created by a long exposure. 

Photoshop CS5 does such a great job stitching separate captures together to make one panoramic image, I’m looking for an opportnity each time I go out to shoot sunsets.   This one was created from five separate images.  I also handheld these shots and captured them with my Nikon P6000 point and shoot.   A little noisey but still looks pretty good and with very little work on my part.
