I drove out to Big Lake with a friend over the weekend.  We found a great sunset waiting for us.

Shot at Calcasieu Point a few weeks.  I like the closeup of the posing pelican.  

In an effort to hurry the arrival of spring…..lovely blooms.  This image was taken at Mercer Gardens in Spring, Texas, one of my favorite spring haunts.  I always try to plan  a trip there to shoot blooms.  

I’ve been going through my photo files and attempting to get things better organized.  I came across several images from my trip last summer to British Columbia that hadn’t been edited.  This one from the Parliament Building in Victoria.  I like all the texture and detail.  The original sky was dull so I exchanged for one with a more interesting cloud design.    Voila!

This was shot at the San Diego Zoo in November of 2008.  I’ve been going through unedited images lurking still on my hard drive and found this gem.    Edited in Photoshop by cloning out some unwanted areas.
