This one from a trip to San Antonio along the Riverwalk. I used the Buzz Simplifier to make the photo look more artistic and then bordered with a sloppy border that I have saved for uses like this. San Antonio is a great place for photographers. Lots of opportunities….Riverwalk, the missions, and a nice zoo, too.

Posted in Uncategorized on January 17, 2010 by Brenda LaFleurI really liked the look of this corner on a Victoria BC street but the photo was pretty boring. I think it looks better as a sketch. I started with a sketch action written by Dave Jaseck and then continued to play with additional coloring and saturation. Dave’s actions, along with many others, can be found at www.atncentral.com/download.htm
A Cypress Lake

Posted in Uncategorized on January 13, 2010 by Brenda LaFleurThis is overlooking the B A Steinhagen Reservoir in East Texas on Highway 190 between Jasper and Woodville. Nearby is the Martin Dies State Park where I took “The Watchers” image that I previously posted. I made a quick drive through this pretty park and will plan a return trip when I have more time to explore. For this shot, pulled off the side of the road (illegally, I might add) and took two quick shots. I liked how this one truned out.
