This is the vertical version of my last post. The sky was ablaze on this evening.

This was shot several weeks ago on the beach at Watercolor, Florida. Spent four great days there with friends enjoying the Florida sunshine. Caught this awesome looking sunset after enjoying a long, lazy afternoon on the beach.
A small vase of fresh cut roses painted in Corel PainterX. I have to give credit to Jill Garl for all I’ve learned about digital painting. I’ve taken two digital painting online workshops from her. Her work is outstanding. Check out: http://www.hannahseyesphotography.com/ Click on the Heirloom Paintings icon to see her portrait work. She also teaches a class in painting flowers through Digital Art Academy.
This is also from Mercer Gardens where there were many varieties and colors of lilies in bloom. I shot this with my Composer, a Lensbaby lens.

I love this composition. I found the three flowers lined up and then shot three frames, focusing on the flower center in each of the three. Then I combined all three images to make one image with sharp detail in all three flower centers.
I always enjoy a visit to Mercer Arborteum and Botanic Gardens during spring. This is one of the many lilies that I captured. Mercer Gardens is north of Houston, near Spring, Tx. This is the link to their site: http://www.hcp4.net/mercer/
