This was shot on the grounds of Greenwood Plantation in St. Francisville, Louisiana.   Spent a few days there last weekend while the azaleas were blooming.

Azaleas!

It’s finally spring.  I know because the azaleas are blooming.  I made my annual trip to St. Franciville to shoot during azalea season.  This one in downtown St. Francisville…..azaleas growing through a white picket fence.  azalea-01

Wisteria

I really liked this image when I shot it years ago.  Came across it tonight when going through some old files.  I reworked it using the Topaz Adjustment plug-in for PhotoShop.  Find it at www.topazlabs.com A wonderful tool to pull out detail in an image.  The old building has long since been torn down and unfortunately the wisteria went away with the demolition.  wisteria3b

Low Key is the topic for this month in my local photography group.   Shot this image using cut stem tulips in my home studio.  low-key-tulips-copy
